Secret Items

The TES CD that ships with Morrowind contains some art that isn't used anywhere in the game. These items have to be made into objects before they can be used; and some of them have missing textures or texture problems. Still, there are some real gems there, my favorites being the miniature statues of the Daedra.

To use these, you'll have to associate the .nif with an object in the TESCS, and if appropriate make an icon.

I've only looked at a few of these so far. Much of the information on this page comes from this thread on the Bethsoft Mods forum and this thread on the TESCS forum; most of it is from posts by Jeren, Dragoncat, Serykar, The other Felix (cited as ToF), Trylobit, beardo, and dongle. Thanks to Jeren and The other Felix for contacting me with lots of additions.

Dragoncat: This set contains the different sections of vivec cantons such as corners, doors, walls and stairs. It even has a model that would let people make open air cantons. Unfortunately, the texture gets bent or blurred in a really ugly manner.
